Redwood Logistics Honored with Chicago Top Workplaces Award

Redwood recognized as a
pillar of innovation in Chicago

Chicago, IL – December 08, 2023 Redwood Logistics (Redwood), one of the fastest growing fourth party logistics (4PL) providers in North America, today announced the company's recognition as a recipient of the prestigious Chicago Top Workplaces 2023 Award, presented by the Chicago Tribune.

The Chicago Top Workplaces Award underscores Redwood’s unwavering commitment to creating an exceptional workplace environment, fostering a culture of innovation and promoting employee satisfaction. The honor is particularly significant as it is determined exclusively through candid feedback from employees, gathered via a third-party survey administered by Energage LLC, an employee engagement technology partner. The survey is designed to assess 15 culture drivers that are instrumental in an organization's success, including alignment, execution, and connection, among others.

Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, remarked, "Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees. That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends."

Redwood, headquartered in Chicago, has been a key player in the supply chain and logistics sector for over 20 years and has grown rapidly to become a leading modern 4PL solution in North America. The company has consistently demonstrated its commitment to fostering a culture that encourages growth, innovation, and teamwork.

Todd Berger, President of Redwood Logistics, said, "This year we celebrated the launch of Redwood Hyperion, the acquisition of Rockfarm Supply Chain Solutions and our inclusion in Gartner’s 2023 Market Guide for 4PLs1, so it’s a special honor to close out the year by earning this title once again. We’re extremely proud of the tight-knit and growth-oriented company culture we’ve developed over the last two decades. A major reason for our continued success is due to our dedicated and talented employees who continue to go above and beyond for our customers, partners, and carriers."

With a team of over 800 employees, Redwood Logistics brings a diverse range of expertise to the logistics and technology fields. The company's services include strategically integrated transportation and logistics solutions, which are driving digital transformation within the supply chain.

Berger added, "We’re all in when it comes to investing in our people, community, and technology. Our company culture is built to help our customers move, manage and innovate their supply chains, but the same goes for our employees. Every day we strive to bring 100% passion and 100% drive to provide our staff with endless opportunities for growth."

Redwood also claimed a ‘Best in Show’ title for a demonstration of Redwood’s proprietary iPaaS platform, RedwoodConnect™, at FreightWaves’s F3 conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As presented by Eric Rempel, Chief Innovation Officer at Redwood, attendees gained further insight into RedwoodConnect™ as the cornerstone of Redwood’s revolutionary logistics and technology delivery model, Logistics Platform as a Service (LPaaS ), a turnkey solution that simplifies the most complex supply chain integration cases.
