    As Mexico prepares for the arrival of thousands of visitors during the FIFA World Cup, hotels and restaurants are increasing operations to meet higher demand. However, supply chain security remains a growing concern.

    According to Overhaul reports, 26% of cargo transportation theft cases involve food and beverage products, while 75% of cargo theft nationwide is concentrated in Central Mexico and the Bajío region — key areas connected to Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Monterrey.

    GE Aerospace will invest $43M USD in the acquisition of new machinery, tooling, and calibration equipment, as well as infrastructure upgrades aimed at optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing the quality of its facilities, and ensuring on-time deliveries to global customers.
