Redwood Logistics (Redwood), one of the fastest growing fourth-party logistics (4PL) providers in North America, today announced Innovation Day 2025, an in-person event scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT at the Oracle Industry Innovation Lab. The program will showcase how shippers are accelerating digital transformation with Redwood solutions and select technology partners.
“Innovation day was created to focus on proven playbooks and demos that leaders can use to cut complexity and advance supply chains,” said Christopher Thornycroft, EVP of Operations, Redwood. “Practitioners will share how Redwood integrates people, processes, and technology to improve planning, execution, and visibility.
Attendees can expect interactive demonstrations, first-hand customer perspectives, and opportunities to connect with industry peers and the Redwood leadership team. Sessions will highlight practical approaches to modernizing transportation and warehousing operations, improving visibility and service levels, and streamlining global trade workflows through data-driven decision-making.
Following a welcome address from Keith McMahon, Group Vice President of Supply Chain at Oracle, Thornycroft will provide an industry update. A Customer Innovation Spotlight will feature Steel & Pipe Supply with Fred Erb (Vice President of Transportation), Brandon Vilander (Transportation Planning and Systems Manager), and Garrett Hall (Transportation Application Analyst) sharing lessons from their modernization work.
Kim Bauman (Solution Engineer) and Bill Warrington (Sr. Director, Warehousing & Distribution) from Redwood will demo global trade and warehouse management systems. Afternoon lab rotations will be led by solution engineers Rebecca Hoffman and Bill Buckley. Thomas Deakins, Professor of Supply Chain at the University of Tennessee, will discuss building a future-ready workforce.
During the day, attendees will experience hands-on demos of GTM and WMS workflows, customer spotlights and a session presented by Eric Rempel, Redwood's Chief Innovation Officer, who will present “AI in the Supply Chain,” followed by closing remarks and a networking reception. You’ll leave with concrete playbooks to improve planning, execution and visibility, as well as new connections with peers and Redwood leaders.
“Shippers don’t need another dashboard; they need outcomes,” said Rempel. “By unifying planning, execution, and partner connectivity and then applying AI where it actually moves the needle, we help customers turn volatility into advantage and measurable results.”
Secure your seat today and join us Nov. 6 at the Oracle Industry Innovation Lab. Registration is now open. Additional customer speakers will be announced in the days leading up to the event. Check back for updates as the lineup grows.
