To continue delivering on its high customer service standards, IEWC sought to align with a managed transportation partner who could implement a transportation management system (TMS) and integrate with their enterprise resource planning (ERP) technology and existing processes, while realizing cost savings.

    IEWC was searching for an integrated and optimized TMS solution through a TMS integrator that was experienced in getting the most out of the Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) platform. Redwood’s experience as an Oracle Gold Partner implementation specialist, flexible approach, and ability to incorporate existing systems and processes set it apart. Redwood analyzed existing software and processes, and delivered a fully integrated solution utilizing RedwoodConnect™, OTM, and scalable best-in-class freight management practices, driving optimized carrier utilization to reduce costs and increasing carrier effectiveness on a lane-by-lane basis systematically through the TMS.

    Through the OTM integration, IEWC could easily enter data and gain access to additional tracking and visibility to all shipments managed through their network, integrating all of that with their ERP system. Redwood was also able to deliver LTL rate savings through their proprietary LTL tariff and procurement bid process.
