Simplified Logistics and Redwood Logistics are merging into one name: Redwood Logistics

As you are aware, in December of 2017 Simplified Logistics and Redwood Logistics teamed up to become a full-service next generation third party logistics provider. We are taking the next step in this process by adopting a consolidated name: Redwood Logistics.

What does Redwood Logistics stand for?

We exist to make our customers great — that’s what we stand for. Redwood is built to fully address and solve the problems logistics professionals face and the recent and successful integration of Simplified Logistics enables us to better achieve this goal. Customers now have the benefit of deeper talent, expertise and broader managed services spanning truckload and LTL transportation, warehousing and distribution.

We help customers simplify and focus on their core business by informing their transportation decisions with data-driven, cost-saving insights. Our customers are confident we are securing right-fit, predictable capacity through our tested and trusted carrier network.

Working with Redwood is always a valuable and rewarding human business experience. Redwood offers the best logistics and technology team out there – fun, positive and enjoyable to work with. We believe that excellence is an everyday deliverable, and in building collaborative, long-term relationships.


What happened to Simplified Logistics?

The Simplified Logistics name will continue to exist under Redwood’s managed service offerings as Redwood’s LTL Management. The people in our Simplified office in Westlake will continue to support you as they have in the past.

Simplified Logistics is now part of a broader managed solution. As a Simplified Logistics customer, we are keeping this change simple. We will have the same knowledge and support for your account but will be adding additional resources to better service your needs. You will also have access to the broader service offerings of Redwood Logistics such as Truckload, Multimodal Brokerage, Warehouse and Distribution services and technology, integration and business intelligence services.


Why are you moving to a consolidated name, Redwood?

Operating under one name allows us to encompass all of the different services we provide in a single brand. Simplified Logistics was recognized as an industry leader in third party logistics for LTL. Redwood has a broader reach of capabilities that includes multimodal brokerage, warehousing and distribution, third party logistics, and professional services. As we consolidated the companies, it made more sense to move toward the broader Redwood brand.


What does this change mean for me as a Customer?

Not a whole lot is changing in our day to day operations. The biggest changes will be our increased service capabilities, deeper resources and better reach. This transition is intentionally designed to be minimally disruptive to our customers, carriers, strategic partners and employees. The change will mean more service options, more support and more value.


Where do I login if I was a Simplified Logistics Customer?

You can use your existing Simplified user name and password to log into Our new site went live in August. The home page looks a little different but the login page should be very familiar and will allow you to enjoy the same technology you have grown familiar with.


Who is my point of contact?

Your primary contacts in sales and operations will remain the same. We will be adding additional customer support resources as needed.


Will your service offerings change as a result of the consolidation?

Your current LTL service is not changing. We have upgrades available for technology and your sales representative will also introduce a broader range of services if they have not already done so.


Who should I reach out to with questions?

While we tried to address the most common concerns, it is natural that you may have more questions. We want to maintain transparency with you so will be sure to answer these as they arise. Please route any questions through your sales rep or management contact and we will ensure they are answered promptly and to your satisfaction.
