Ultimately, everything we do is driven by people, not systems. Our focus on relationships is the reason we’re able to deliver real value and results.

Todd Berger

President, Redwood Logistics

As President of Redwood Logistics, Todd was one of the four people who founded Transportation Solutions Group (TSG), which is now Redwood Multimodal and the first of the Redwood family of companies.

Under Todd’s entrepreneurial spirit, Redwood’s family of companies quickly grew through expansion and acquisition. In 2004, he created F/X (now Freight Exchange of North America, a Redwood Logistics Company) to better serve TSG’s rapidly-growing customer base. After experimenting in IT development and co-creating a proprietary operating system, he launched 3PLogic (now Redwood Supply Chain Solutions) in 2009. Most recently, Todd led the acquisition of Defined Logistics (now Redwood Distribution).

Today, the Redwood family of companies manages over $500 million in freight move and managed spend per year, employs more than 300 people in nine cities and has over 300 drivers in the F/X fleet.

In 2013, Todd was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.

He began his 15-year transportation career during a high school internship at American Backhaulers. He received a bachelors in journalism and communications from Ohio State University.
