Jim Liakos

Chief Financial Officer

As Redwood Logistics’ CFO, Jim oversees corporate finance and accounting, treasury functions, strategic planning, investor relations, internal control and shared services for the Redwood family of companies. He also has management oversight of Redwood’s compliance and risk management groups.

Jim has over 12 years of corporate finance experience with diversified companies in manufacturing, financial and business services. He became CFO in 2010 after serving as Transportation Solution Group’s (Now Redwood) controller since 2007.

After Redwood Logistics was acquired by CI Capital Partners in January 2018 and merged with Simplified Logistics, Jim served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development before returning to the CFO role of the combined organization in November 2018.

Before joining the Redwood Logistics team, Jim worked at HSBC North America Holdings Inc., a leading financial institution, most recently as manager of treasury finance. He also held a number of roles in external reporting, process improvement, financial reporting and analysis and treasury. Before HSBC, James worked as an accountant at Switchcraft Inc.

A Certified Public Accountant, Jim earned his bachelors from Loyola University of Chicago and his MBA from Loyola’s Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the AICPA.
