The rebrand includes a new logo, new website, www.redwoodlogistics.com, new advertising and marketing collateral and new tagline, “Bold. Smart. Essential. Logistics.”
“We chose the name Redwood (Logistics) because we feel it represents our family of companies’ solid, interconnected roots,” said Berger. “Although our name and logo has changed, on a day-to-day basis, nothing has changed. We will continue to deliver the same industry-leading logistics and transportation solutions our customers have grown to expect over the past 14 years.”
The Redwood Family of companies includes Redwood Multimodal, a freight brokerage company; Redwood Supply Chain Solutions, a technology-powered freight management company; Redwood Distribution, a warehousing and freight forwarding company; and Freight Exchange, an asset-based full truckload, dry van carrier.
Today, the Redwood Family of Companies employs over 300 people, operates across multiple states and is slated to move and manage over $500 million in freight in 2015.
