Redwood Logistics Named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s
100 Top Supply Chain Projects for 2016

Redwood Logistics Wins Award for Top 100 Supply Chain Solution, from Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine

CHICAGO — June 29, 2016 — Redwood Logistics, a strategically-integrated transportation and logistics provider, was recently awarded the 2016 Supply & Demand Chain Executive (S&DCE) Top 100 Award for its supply chain solutions and transportation management systems (TMS) integration work for Filtration Group.

KeyThe S&DCE 100 is an annual list of 100 great supply chain projects. These projects can serve as a guide for supply chain executives who are looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. These projects show how supply chain solution and service providers help their customers and clients achieve supply chain excellence and prepare their supply chains for success.

Redwood Logistics earned this recognition for its innovative solutions to help Chicago-based customer Filtration Group gain control over a diverse transportation network, utilizing TMS technology and Managed Services to drive savings and improve its competitive advantage.

“Our work with Filtration Group to design and aggressively implement a supply chain solution across its initial 12 operating companies is a prime example of the sophisticated and customized work we do for our customers,” said Todd Berger, CEO, Redwood Logistics. “As a result of Filtration Group’s continued growth and our ability to quickly operationalize solutions, the scope of the program has since expanded to include an additional five locations.”

“The goal of the 2016’s S&DCE 100 is to shine the spotlight on successful and innovative transformation projects that deliver bottom-line value to small, medium and large enterprises across the supply chain,” says Ronnie Garrett, editor of Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The selected projects can serve as a roadmap for supply chain executives looking for new opportunities to drive improvement in their own operations. We congratulate all of our winners for a job well done!”

“This recognition is a testament to our amazing, collaborative team and the exceptional work they do every day,” Berger concluded.
