As president of Freight Exchange (F/X), a Redwood Logistics Company, Gary leads the company on its mission of supplying chain and capacity solutions to a broad cross-section of companies throughout North America.

Gary is backed by 30 years of experience in the transportation industry. He has been involved with both large scale and smaller trucking companies which provides a unique perspective on the challenges of the industry.

Before joining F/X in 2013, Gary spent more than 20 years in senior leadership roles with Schneider National. After his successful career at Schneider, Gary went on to Exel, where he was instrumental in building a national network for the home delivery business. In less than five years, Gary and his team developed the leading home delivery network in North America and turned a struggling business into a successful and profitable enterprise.

Prior to embarking on his transportation and logistics career, Gary served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University.
